Raging Waters Sacramento Closure

Raging Waters Sacramento Will Not Reopen In 2023

After 15 years of serving the local community, Raging Waters Sacramento will not reopen. We extend our thanks to the many guests who gave us the opportunity to entertain their families and friends over that period, as well as the thousands of Team Members who worked with us in Sacramento. Thank you for the memories!

We have provided answers to some common questions below. Please email us at RWSac_General@PalaceEntertainment.com if you have a question not covered here.

Q: Why is Raging Waters Sacramento closing?

A: Palace Entertainment, which has operated the water park at Cal Expo since 2007, has terminated its lease after a careful review of company priorities. This termination is effective immediately.

Q: Will there be another operator for the water park at this location?

A: That determination will be up to the property owner. It would not be a Raging Waters property.

Q: I purchased a 2023 Season Pass or made a deposit for a group outing. How do I get a refund?

A: Please email RWSac_General@PalaceEntertainment.com with your purchase confirmation or deposit information and include your full name.

Q: What about the park’s staff?

A: We are working with the full-time staff in Sacramento during this transition period.

Q: Does this decision affect the Raging Waters parks in Los Angeles and San Jose?

A: No, our Raging Waters Los Angeles & San Jose are hard at work preparing for the 2023 Season, opening Memorial Day Weekend. We would love for you to join us at either location next summer!
